Always a great stop for the best chicken in the area! Small place only serving to go! I love original flavor! Food is worth the wait but line moves fast!
Recommend the cole slaw!! -

It was alright!! We have another chicken go-to that we were getting sick of, so we decided to try something new. My sister's one request was good Mac and cheese, and Lee's was what we landed on. We got the 12 pc. strip meal with two large sides, and an extra side of Mac and cheese.
The chicken strips were good. The breading on it had an interesting flavor that tasted similar to other chicken I've had, but I can't put my finger on where it's from. The meat itself was cooked well.
The cole slaw was okay. Definitely not my favorite, but it was...cole slaw. It did what it needed to do.
We also got the potato wedges which I loved!! Tasted very good and had a great flavor.
In my opinion, the star was the Mac and cheese. It was creamy and cheesy, and all of us just loved it.
The one thing was that we live about 20 mins ways from Lee's, and when we got home we realized they forgot the Mac and cheese, so we had to go all the way back to get it. Honest mistake.
Definitely recommend if you're looking to try some new chicken! -

We ordered the spicy chicken. It was crispy but very bland and not even a hint of spice. The mac and chz and mashed potatoes were good but very similar to kfc. The biscuits were delicious. We normally frequent Guss's, and will probably continue.

I was reluctant to get something from here because of a couple of past situations, but we wanted chicken and it is the closest chicken place to us. I placed a pick up order over the phone. They repeated it back to me and took my name. They told me it would be 10 minutes. My husband got there, had to wait in a very long line, (No special line for pick up) and then they didn't even have a record of our order, so he had to order again at the counter!! Almost 45 minutes after our initial phone order, they gave him the order and didn't take a second glance and were on to the next person. No apology or anything! We will not be back to this place and we will certainly not recommend it.

I was at an office in the area and was finally able to check this off my list. I ordered the liver meal with baked beans and mac and cheese as my sides. Well...all items were just okay. The coating on the livers wasn't crispy or crunchy. It was just...there, and I make better mac and cheese from the Kraft box. The beans and biscuit were better than the other two, but that's not saying much. I'm tempted to return and try the chicken but haven't convinced myself yet.
